And the Winner is...?

Congrats to the Dallas Mavericks, NBA Champions. They really did it. The team that most people had zero faith in until they beat Lakers in the fashion they did. They earned this one in impressive fashion. Dirk didn't have the best game in the world but when the 4th quarter came around he did what he needed for his guys. The threes finally started to hit for Dallas and it was all she wrote when Jason Terry, JJ Barea were in the game. Jason Terry called LeBron out early in the series and I guess he was right by saying James couldnt guard him for seven games.... The Jet closed it out with impressive "lights out" shooting. Congrats to Jason Kidd. He really deserves it to go along with his future Hall Of Fame placement.
Mark Cuban says that giving his players a championship ring was "old." He says he got something exclusive he is gonna do for his team. I cant wait to see!!!

Meanwhile on the other side of the ball..........

This was one of the worst displays of basketball in a championship game I've ever seen. C'mon son. where ya heart at?

and this is what Wade was worrying about before the game.....

well this is what he can wear now...

He could actually become unstoppable one day if he ads that to his game. Then he needs to see the wizard and ge ta heart be cause his sure doesn't work. Chris Bosh (aka Posh Spice), was having a consistent first half, and then went back into his usual "chill mode" when the game counted. Dwade always says if he is on the court injuries are ruled out, so he gotta get it too.... Horrible game for Wade as well. How much can you actually expect from the rest of those guys who touch the court?

Chalmers was actually the shining star that kept the game close for his guys by hitting some clutch shots. Only problem was he forgot about the defensive part of it all.
I really hope you dont expect me to mention any other players right????Juwan Howard acting like his not gone get any retirement bread. He is about 2 or 3 years out of game shape along with all the other big men. Haslem is a good role player but was too small to compete....

So where do they go from here? We will be back soon with another blog to comment on that question because it will require a long ass answer....

On another note, hopefully we have a season next year and not a work stoppage. The game is getting more competitive by the year and we don't need the NBA to start out the same way things have for the NFL.

Down to the Wire

It all comes down to this. First off, I like the Heat. I think DWade is arguably the 2nd best player in the league behind Kobe. That makes LeBron 2b in a somewhat virtual tie with Wade, but giving the edge to DWade because he has actually won in dramatic fashion unless LBJ. That being said, what in the FFFFFUUUUUCCCCKKKK is wrong with these guys? This is pathetic that Miami looks so good in spurts and looks so terrible in others. Dallas shot 13-19 on 3s, but how many were wide open 3s after terrible switches or lost assignments after clogging the lane? Why are you crowding the lane against a team that has ZERO slashers? Stay at home, Dallas would have to beat me 1on1 all day before I help on defense. Will Dallas shoot this good again, probably so if they are wide open.

5 Ways for Miami to Come Back
1. Leave Mike Bibby in Dallas. Give him the wrong flight information. Leave him in the hotel. Let him oversleep on the flight and make sure he makes the next flight to Alaska. He is virtually worseless right now. He has no confidence in his shot, couldn't go by Jason Kidd if he had quiksand, and is only decent on defense. Not to say Chalmers is that much of an upgrade but he has been pretty decent on offense. Bibby's minutes have decreased to 15 mins a game, why not bring that off the bench instead of the 1st quarter?
2. In addition to coming off the bench, throw more flame throwers at Dallas. Can we get a James Jones sighting? Why wouldn't throw House/Bibby/Jones in some kind of simple rotation of whoever is hot? Neither is as bad of a defensive liability as Peja who is buried on Dallas bench.

3. Give Chris Bosh some football gloves in the 3rd/4th quarter like a QB in cold weather. He has been better than expected this series but he is who we thought he was. A role player. A soft guy. He is the modern day Horace Grant without the goggles and the great defense. But he has been invisible in the 3rd to 4th quarter.

4. Get DWade the ball. He is obviously the only one on the court that is ballin the entire game. He has to be looking at his teammates wishing he had Shaq and Gary Payton right now.

5. Bring in Hakeem Olajuwon to teach LeBron some offensive moves IMMEDIATELY. If he can help Dwight Howard, he has to be able to teach this guy at least 3 post moves over the weekend. James has got to want to shed the label of Quitness, a front runner, and momma's boy and force this series to 7 games and win. He can't just win now, he has to dominate and be special if he ever wants to crack top 10 greatest ever. Like his tweet, it is NOW "Now or never."

In other news, Floyd "Coward" Mayweather has yet to respond to this diss track by Manny "Pound-for-Pound" Pacquiao.

This fight will never happen. Mayweather is the undisputed king of running. Recent reports have him linked to Bin-Laden and the two alledgedly wrote a book "The Art of Hiding." It clearly will be a best seller. Fake Freddie Roach getting his Delonte West on in the video. At the 1:50 min mark, it gets hella funny.

NBA Finals: Heat vs Mavs? Award Roundup

Barring a meltdown of the Heatles, looks like the Finals will be an instant replay of Dallas Mavs vs Miami Heat.
Season Series:
Dallas won the season series 2-0. The games were in November and December. The Dallas win in December snapped the Heat's 12 game win streak at the time were they first started to put everything together. That was also the stretch in which Dallas looked like they do right now, the best team in the West by winning 17 out of 18 games.
Matchups:
PG - Obviously Dallas has the advantage and Jason Kidd wins this matchup hands down. Kidd is the ultimate floor general, sneaky good defender, and somehow 3pt specialist. Miami is working with the by committee approach of Chalmers/Bibby. Coach Spo doesnt seem to want to give Chalmers the green light for some reason. Maybe Chalmers owes him money for a poker game or something but he should be starting right now. Bibby should be in spot duty.
SG - Advantage Heat. DWade should get back on track vs Deshawn "Diamonds in my Damn Chain" Stevenson. Elephant in the room - Until OT vs Bulls in last game, Wade has been lightweight..... terrible. I can see the Bulls have people that can guard Wade pretty good but Wade is taking a backseat to LeBron right now.
SF - Advantage Heat. Besides from the next guy on this list, who is playing the best basketball right now? LeBron has picked it up defensively and offensively since the Boston series and looks unstoppable right now. If he only stops saying he doesn't want to play PG, then he would settle into that role perfectly. Marion will have his hands full but will make things tough on LeBron.
PF - Dirk Diggler is showing you White Men Can't Jump, but they can shoot the J. Dirk has been enfuego the last 2 weeks. He is almost impossible to guard. If I were the Heat, I would give Dirk a heavy dosage of LeBron and Haslem.
C - Can I list Bosh as Center? Miami is not going to play Big Z, Anthony, or any other DLeague caliber player from here on out right? I see the Heat going with a variation of Wade/LBJ/Miller/Bosh/Haslem or Chalmers from here on out. Isn't that there best lineup? If so, Advantage Bosh. Tyson Chandler is no Joakim Noah but he blocks shots. I see him in foul trouble for most of the series. Bosh has been playing with a candle under his ass (no homo) and rightfully so. If he has the 15 ft jumper going, look out.
Bench - Dallas. People keep saying how deep Dallas bench is, they have Jason "I only show up every other game" Terry, Peja "This is why i'm hot" Stokajvic, and JJ "Dynomite" Barea. Can someone tell me how JJ Barea is making these guys look bad? Is it because he is shorter and slower than every other guard in the league that they are not used to that change of pace? If White Mike Miller, Haslem, Anthony, and White Mike Bibby show up half the time, I really see the bench as a wash, slight advantage Dallas. The problem is that none of those names on Dallas can play defense.
Who's Hot:
Nobody is hotter than LeBron and Dirk right now. They are sharing the co-mvp award right now. Since Dirk is the more consistent scorer, I figure he will stay on fire. If Dallas keeps all of there 3pt shooters on floor (Kidd/Terry/Peja/Dirk/Chandler lineup), the games will be in the 120's easily. As for LeBron, he has to eat Mark Cubans kids the first few games. Heat have a chance to take care of home first, before heading to Jerry's World.

Who's Not:
The missing link in this series for the Mavs is the services of one Mr. Tough Juice. Racine's finest Caron Butler has been out and will miss this series. He was the one guy that can guard LeBron and Wade effectively. Marion will do a feasible job but he doesn't have the offensive firepower of Butler either.
X-Factor:
Dallas - If the 3pt shot is falling for the Mavs, it is going to be a tough stretch for the Heat. The games they lost this playoffs mostly included teams getting hot from behind the arc.
Miami Losses - Philly 8-18 3s, Boston 9-18 3s, Bulls 10-21 3s. There style of defense is a scramble switching, often lose track of their assignment, which leads to open kick out 3s and losing the rebound game. Miami has tried to correct that after each loss.
Miami - If the tempo is good and the ball is moving, Miami wins. The Heat have a tendency to play pick up ball, meaning, here is the ball, your turn to make a move. The ball sticks in someone's hand and the defense is able to shut down the one-on-one moves easier. Movement, running, and swinging the ball as simple as it sounds, is the key to Miami's success. Having 3 players that can get hot doesn't hurt either.
Who Wins:
History repeats itself. Heat in 6. Maybe they will shoot the next video for the DJ Khaled remix to "All I Do is Win" at KOD.

A Little Revisionist History:
How my pre-season predictions played out in NBA?
Pre-season MVP - Split MVP between Durant and the new forgotten star, Kobe. It can't be DWade or LeBron unless they split the award and that wont happen unless they win 75 games. Durant, aka Dookie from the Wire, has the image the NBA wants right now. I think this will be the last hooray for Kobe. The Lakers will more than likely have the best record in the West and Kobe being the best player on the team....well you see where I'm going.
Reality: Derrick Rose took the LeBron James Do It Yourself Award by leading the Bulls to a league best 62-20 record. After watching them in the playoffs, you walk away with 2 conclusions: Did Rose wear himself out carrying the Bulls all year? and Who are they going to sign to give him some help on offense?

Pre-season Defensive POY - LeBron James - He has everything to prove. Remember he was 2nd to Howard last year. Playing in an uptempo style where he can be the rover....look the F@()k out. Sleeper - Serge Ibaka, OKC. I know most people have never heard of him, but this cat is legit. Will probably lead the league in blocks.
Reality: Dwight Howard ran away with this award again. Surprisely, he should have been considered for most times looking at his teammates with the "I cant believe I play with you bums" face. Hello LA.
Pre-season Best Wing Man - Delonte West. Not on the court but wouldn't you love to go out hanging with Delonte as long as he took his medicine? You never know if you gonna end up at some
over 40 club or in the streets, but you know you gonna have some stories to tell.
Reality: This should be renamed to the MILF Hunter and Delonte would be the GOAT.
Pre-season Rookie of Year - John Wall for one simple reason, Blake Griffin is gonna get hurt. He jumps around like he just realized he has legs. Wall is gonna lead the Wiz to the playoffs, not a drastic feat since it will only be about 35 wins. If Blake doesn't get hurt and Baron Davis shows up to work, Blake could get it done. Check the video for highlights 5 and 7.
Reality: Blake managed to stay healthy while delivering the most overrated Dunk Contest finale in league history. After he leaves the Clippers in 2 years, I wonder if he would go back to OKC and make a younger big three with Durant and Westbrook.

Pre-season Sixth Man - JJ Redick - He will get more looks this year. He is a dead eye shooter and surprisely, he has gotten better every year.
Reality: Lamar Khardasian-Odom won, but should he even be eligible? He is a starter right?
Pre-season Most Improved - Darren Collison. He almost made people forget about Chris Paul in New Orleans for a minute.
Reality: Ok. Ok. I was reaching. Kevin Love wins after he went streaking with double doubles.
Pre-season Biggest Surprise - Gilbert Arenas - he doesn't have to handle the ball anymore. Agent Zero gets to play off the ball with Wall running through opposing defenders in the lane. Is there a scarier image than Arenas running trailer on a Wall fast break to the 3pt line?
Reality:  Arenas was surprised. He was traded to a better team, with a franchise player, where he was able to come off the bench and just shoot. Perfect situation right???? It would be if he could buy some new knees with all that money. Agent Zero showed flashes, but he still hasnt recovered. Pre-season Not So Surprising - Greg Oden gets hurt. Melo gets traded. Tim Duncan retires.
Reality: Check.
Pre-season First Team - Howard, Dookie, LeBron, Wade, Kobe
Reality: Swap Wade with DRose MVP. Nobody honestly saw Rose make that leap did they? Cmon...be for real.
Pre-season Second Team - Amare, Pau Gasol, Deron Williams, Joe Johnson, Carmelo
Reality: Ouch. No Joe, DWill or Melo. Dirk and Westbrook. Yes that same Westbrook.
Pre-season Third Team - Al Jefferson, Chris Paul, Monta Ellis, Bosh, Rose.
Reality: At least I got CP3. Aldridge, ZBo, Horford and Ginobili. Manu should gotten Comeback POY if there is such an award. And what can I say about ZBo....dominated and retired the Spurs in the Playoffs.

The Crying Game

cryingLeBron.jpg
1. The Crying game....... Watsup with the Miami Heat?
KeFarin: So, I know the song says "Big Girls don't cry," but this here is ridiculous.  The Heat are looking dejected on the floor and apparently in the locker room too.  After the Bulls defeated the Heat on Sunday, Heat Coach Eric Spoelstra did the unforgivable.  He told the media wolves that some of the guys were so upset at the loss that they were crying.  There is no crying in Baseball ( A League of their Own), but I know for sure that there is no crying in the NBA.  Anyway... the Heat have lost 5 in a row, looking for 6 if the Lakers have anything to say about it on Thursday night...
DProfessor: So, didnt we say the same thing, minus the tears about the Lakers? I know I know, the Lakers are the two-time defending champs, the Heat aint won nothing, bluh bluh bluh. Having watch these guys play 40 mins of hell and then 8 mins of shame every game is disturbing. Do I think this will happen in the playoffs, not so much. But at the same time I do think it is overblown. If anything, Bosh and Spolestra need to see who stays over the summer, they have been awful. No bench rotation, no toughness, no rings. Chris Webber summed it all up HERE.

2. Lakers Undefeated Since Allstar Break
DProfessor: I believe we said that this is not April and the Lakers will be ok.....and they have been just that. Ron Artest in back in therapy, Kobe is well Kobe, and Pau has bloomed into a Black Swan. I hate to say it looks like they are on cruise control but......who really can push them in the West.
KeFarin: So, it is finally back to business as usual in LA.  They are 7-0 since the break, and look to be in playoff form after the dominating win over the NBA's team with the best record, San Antonio Spurs.  The West is still jam packed at the top, but the Lakers look prime for another run at the championship.

 3. How far can Rose and the Bulls go in the Playoffs?

tumblr_lhnnk2ZF161qc96xpo1_500.jpg

KeFarin: So Derrick Rose and the Bulls are looking unstoppable right about now.  Derrick Rose is looking quite MVPish if y'all haven't been paying attention.  This team is in my opinion, the deepest team in the league right now. Derrick Rose is the clear leader here so we know who's gonna have the ball in his hands at the end of the game.  This is one of the quickest teams in the league and the best ( you heard me, best) defensive team in the league.  Numbers don't lie.  This team is a year early to the "Contender Party," but will have no problem playing the crasher role.  With Miami in decline, Boston losing Perkins, and Orlando... nevermind, the Bulls look to be in prime position to beat anyone.
DProfessor: The Bulls are a good solid team. The Bulls are really nice. I don't think this is their year. When was the last time a team won it all with one playmaker, one post scorer, and hustle players? I'll wait....
The names that come to mind are Heat and Wade, Shaq and Kobe, and the like. I think the Bulls are getting there fast, but they are no better than Cleveland from past 3 years.

4. NCAA Tourney Time....
KeFarin: The best sports time in the year is upon us!  The NBA playoff caliber games, The start of the baseball season, and The NCAA tournament.  I will have at least Bracket sheets, and all of em' will be wrong.  Don't you just love it?  Anyway: Ohio State is my pick.  Big Ten back on top!
DProfessor: I'm not making any prediction until the brackets are out. I have Ohio St and San Diego St in final four. You can watch every game this year thanks to Turner Broadcasting. TV will be on overload for TBS, Tru TV, CBS, and somthing else for like 4 days in a row.

5. Brandon Davies of BYU suspended for having sex
KeFarin: Okay, Okay, Okay.  Let's put this to bed.  You take scholarship at school that prohibits tea, tobacco, alcohol and SEX!  Are you crazy?  You break the rules, you deal with the punishment.  I know it wasn't his first time.  He just happened to get caught this time.  You playing ball at BYU, What you expect!!!!
DProfessorSo, who snitched on him? Did he submit his video to darmdorm? I'm just saying......

6. Tiki Barber return?
DProfessorDoes Tiki have some child support payments we don't know about? His ex-wife must have told him she was gonna do the next season of Housewives and air out some dirty secrets. Either that or Ronde was braggin that he was soft at the last family bbq and Tiki would not let that go.
KeFarin: So let me get this right.  Guy leaves team after three consecutive career years to pursue broadcasting career.  Year after guy leaves-SUPER BOWL!  Guy is terrible and now works for Yahoo! Sports.  Oh and he recently got divorced, and is 36 years old.  C'mon Son! Getdafuckouttaherewitdatbullshit!
son.jpg

7. Plaxico Burress is set to be released from prison in June
KeFarin: As long as he's in playing shape, why can't he come back and play at a high level in the NFL.  I say, come to the Bears.  We need a good possession receiver.
DProfessor: Unless Plax had a date with the the Booty Warrior, he should still be a viable WR in the National Football League. Now if there is a strike, Plax might not be the best stickup man, but Antonio Pierce might be available as a driver.

8. Ghostface blog
DProfessor: I havent seen so many nahmeans and ayos and n#gs since high school. A few of my favorite lines from just the recent post:
Sons rhymes is softer than two niggas sharin a umbrella
Ayo the nigga so soft his heart probably got a mink jacket on n shit
That nigga Drake is the same age that Biggie was when he passed son. If that nigga die tomorrow you think niggas is gon be thinkin bout that nigga 14 years after he died...talkin bout "Damn...son was too ill...too ill". Nah g. They might say "Ayo remember that nigga Drake? Word I think son had progesterone in his blood n shit son.
KeFarin: I promise that I have not laughed that much in my life.  This guy, whoever it is, needs to find a narrator and come out with the audio series.  This sh*t is classic.  These stories are unbelievable: Nas flying out of the studio on a 7 foot falcon, Kanye popping Ne-Yo in the skull with his belt buckle, Raekwon being the flyest chubby nigga in the hood, and Drake being a back seat nigga.  I promise, whoever authored these tales has remarkable talent.  I can hear the Wallabee Champ saying every word!!!

In Closing We gotta get back to the Heat -
I know we are beating a dead horse but I thought this was hilarious.
On twitter, one of the trending topics was "#LastTimeTheHeatWon, here are a few of the responses:

Contracts and Deadlines

1. Albert Pujos worth $300 million?
Ebizz: No human being is worth that much. He better be a home run hitter, back catcher, pitcher, and sell peanuts for all that damn money. He does not even have 10 good years left, but even if he does those efforts wont amount to 30 million a year.
DProfessor: From a business standpoint, I see the Cardinals calling the bluff. But the Cardinal arrogance of we will be alright without him is typical St. Louis Good Ole Boys. Is he worth the money, thats up for debate. But if people like Jason Werth can get 7yr $126 mill, Pujols should get 30 mill a year. Hands down. I understand getting more people for the money but you cant replace star power.
Beans: Hell No he's not worth it.  That being said there is big hole in the Cubs' lineup that I'm sure Albert would have no problem filling. That would be nuts!   Hey, A-Rod got his why can't Albert get his too?

2.Charlie Sheen and a new Major League 4
Ebizz: Im with it. This is the only thing baseball I would watch other than my boy Kenny Powers....  Who cares about him abusing drugs and women. He is not the first and will not be the last but who gives a damn anyways. I enjoyed the first three and would not mind one more sequel.
Beans: Yeah right... He wasn't even in ML 3 that I remember.  Who would he play, the obnoxious fan that gets kicked out of the park after sniffing blow with prostitutes in the stands?
DProfessor: Charlie Sheen needs to go ahead and cash in with his own porn spoof. Just call it The Major League and be done with it. He probably already has the footage. Just needs to edit, cut, and add a soundtrack.

3. Cam Newton, and all the other quarterbacks
Ebizz: Cmon now. This guy did everything I expect Pujos to do if he gets this lottery contract. How was he not always considered the best qb? Is this a case of skin color??? There were a few other standout qb's, but none compared to Newton.
Beans: Same old story here.  Cam is the "same" can't miss prospect that (ahem) Vince Young was.  That is where the similarities end.  He is a physical specimen unlike most we've seen leaving the college ranks at the qb position.  He has a cannon for an arm, just wait until he gets "coached up."
DProfessor: Pay Cam his money. Difference between Cam and Vince, Cam actually has heart. Vince wins games though.

4. Jerry Sloan resigns
Ebizz: They say great athletes and coaches know when the best time is for them to call it quits....It just so happens that he did it at the same time controversy in Utah had risen. He should be a Hall of Famer someday for what he has done.
DProfessor: As most people are still wondering, I want to know was he tired of Williams. Did he just throw his hands up and say I'm cant take this $hit no more.
Beans: Ditto.  His time in this league was special and appreciated, but all good things come to an end.

5. Jerry West Statue
Ebizz: After they make a Kobe statue wont that make 3? They gone run outta statue space in a minute. But hey Im not complaining. Maybe this means they will update the NBA logo to somebody a little more present like...... number 23?
DProfessor: Jerry West is the only man to ever lose the game and win MVP. That should tell you how cold he was. That being said, I wouldnt mind MJ on the logo. The Jordan Brand should take over jerseys the way Reebok did with NFL.
Beans: West is already the logo, why shouldn't he have a statue to match in LA?  As for the logo... as much as I would love for there to be the likeness of MJ23 in the NBA logo, that logo is timeless.  Leave it as is.

6. Melo makes the Knicks a contender?
Ebizz: I think the biggest learning curve will come when its time to play some defense. This uncoached part of the game may bite them in the ass if the coach doesn't add this to his game plan. They now have a great nucleus to build on for the future at least. I can see Nash or Chris Paul in a Knick jersey. I would like to see a quality center alongside Amare as well.
DProfessor: They will average 100 pts a game and give up 110. Starting line up of Amare, Melo, Turiaf, Landry Fields, and Billups doesnt exactly pump fear into the Boston, Miami, Chicagos of the Eastern Conf.
Beans: Yeah a great nucleus based on the Defenseless D'antoni system.  This is the eastern conference - Where defense is what separates contenders from pretenders.  This move helps the Knicks, but does not make them contenders-Period.  This move seems Isiah-like on the surface, but the Knicks finally got something valuable while giving up draft picks and talent.  New York has two franchise players, now they just need a team.

7. Deron Williams to Nets?
Ebizz: If Utah didnt work i wonder how long this marriage will last, cuz the Nets not going no where.
DProfessor: Is it me or is all of the young talent moving to the East and the "veteran" teams are deeper in the West, minus Dookie and the Thunder? The Nets really didn't give up much but without Sloan, I don't think Devin Harris can reach his full potential. Trade is like 3 weeks too late.
Beans: I like Deron Williams.  In my opinion the second best pg in the league (After D-Rose, yeah I'm a homer).  Deron is tired of Utah and is looking for a change of scenery.  If somehow NY was able to bring D-Will in, that would add a major piece to the puzzle there.  They still need good role players and a change in defensive philosophy. I guess he will have to settle for Brooklyn.

8. Favorite basketball movie of all time
Ebizz: I would have to say it is a tie for me between Blue Chips with Nick Nolte and a classic combination of Shaq and Penny. A perfect storyline as well. The other would be Above the Rim which came from a more street angle and featured more than enough significant stars. I love both of em. Other notables were White Men Cant Jump and He Got Game.
DProfessor: Probably a tie with Blue Chips, Space Jam, and He Got Game. He Got Game took Blue Chips and showed the recruiting process that people are just now complaining about and visualized it. And any movie with Jesus Shuttlesworth as your main character gets my vote. Blue Chips is awesome. Nick Nolte as Bobby Knight type coach was right on time. Favorite part is when the white baller asks for money in one of those nice little gym bags.
Beans: White Men Can't Jump gets my vote.  Streetball with talented hoopers.  Wesley Snipes and Woody Harrelson played the hell out of those roles.  It actually looked like those guys could play ball.  Also, the young Rosie Perez was Woody's lady  too.  Nuff Said. Honorable Mention - Above the Rim, Hoosiers, and the Earl "The Goat" Manigalt movie with Don Cheadle.

9. Favorite Football movie of all time
Ebizz: The Program and Friday Night Lights
DProfessor: Any Given Sunday. Watch the video. The Real LT was in there too.
Beans: The Program is a classic, probably will never be topped in my book.  Honorable Mention - Any Given Sunday, Jerry McGuire, and Waterboy

10. Lingerie Football League
Ebizz: Are you kidding me? I think this is a kind of silly idea, but at the same time, if you give St. Louis a team I would probably be seen in the audience of at least one game. Sometimes a sport gets its real appreciation when you see it live. And I know fellas \can sure agree with me on this one. Hmmm maybe a lingerie basketball team may improve allstar weekend as well?
DProfessor: The games come on MTV 2 and  if you flicking through the channels, it sure as hell catches your eye. I think a lot of events could borrow the Lingerie theme, CNN, the weather channel, History network.
Beans: We actually have a LFL team here in Chicago.  If the games were televised I might actually watch.  But until someone delivers a career/season ending hit on another lady.... I'll pass.

Bonus: I watched a nice documentary on ESPN about the only Black driver to ever win a Nascar event. The story of Wendell Scott is represented by "A Story of Race". It should have been apart of the 30 for 30 movement but nonetheless. I enjoyed it. You can watch all 4 parts by clicking on this users youtube.

All Star Wrap It Up

1. NBA Allstar weekend
Ebizz:
Overall it was everything i figured it would be, but i still wanted alot better. Maybe if the competitions were as fun to watch as the dunk contest it would be more entertaining for me. But Charles Barkley is hilarious. Whats was Kanye thinking about with those tight ass jeans on??  and Shouts out to Rhianna and that itty bitty skirt tho.
DProfessor: Best part of the weekend was the commentary from Charles, Kenny and the crew. If Barkley had a reality show, I would watch it religiously. From Charles clowning Justin Beiber, to doing the dougie, I was throughly entertained. All Star weekend did live up to the hype. Better than any other sports hands down. Kanye - please take off those jeggins. Not a good look - Management.

2. Three Point contest
Ebizz
: I thought Ray would win but that Jones dude came thru in the end. I guess that bout all he is good for anyways.
DProfessor: Too bad Jones isn't clutch. He hasnt hit a game winner ever has he? Eddie House has demonstrated his uncanny eye for the big shot.
3.Dunk Contest
DProfessor: I would have like to see Derozan vs Blake for the finale. McGee had some nice gimmick dunks but you just figured they would run out soon. McGee under the basket was extra nice. The finale overall was a let down. The dunk over the car was ooookkk. For all the preaching that Kenny Smith was doing, I thought Moses Griffin was gonna split the red sea. I will say this, the best man won. Blake Griffin jumps with bad intentions. He sucks the air straight out the room. He is violent.
Ebizz:
I was very impressed by the quality of dunks and the extra theatrics as well. JaVelle McGee had the dunk with two balls and two hoops. Blake Griffin got handed the award from the home team. But no complaints from me. Maybe next year we can get some stars involved. LeBron nutted up and did not get in this year after saying he would.

4.Other Competitions
DProfessor:I liked the thought of Horse, but the execution is not TV ready. People have to be able to talk big game playing horse, and by talking $hit, I mean curse words and expletives. How about an All Star Draft like the NHL were they have two captains and they pick 2 teams that way.

Ebizz: A bunch of crap to me. Gotta get one on one, a dunk on a chump competition or something better than the mess we are forced to watch now. It is becoming more painful by the year to sit thru these silly events.

5.Allstar Game
Ebizz:
It was not that flashy type of game I was expecting to see overall. Kobe was business as usual as I expected to see. Derrick Rose is always impressive.
DProfessor: It was great to see the Heatles and Celtics get along. lol
6. NBA second half surprise team
DProfessor: Not to say that they will do anything in the playoffs but how about Golden State and Indiana Pacers? Both teams finally figuring out how to play with each other and getting healthy. Again, they wont win a playoff series but they will tire one of these old teams out.
Ebizz:
I wanna say the Spurs. They cannot keep playing at this amazing level....... Or can they?

7. Carmelo moves?
Ebizz:
I would love to see him with the Knicks, but apparently he does really care if its Knicks or Nets. Winning a championship seems not to be priority number one. Only if he was headed to Los Angelos........
DProfessor: For him to get the Knicks or Nets of all their talent instead of waiting until offseason is clearly a sign that these guys are scared it will be a lockout. Dumb move unless its strictly about the money.
8. Black Mamba, DWade and Kevin Hart, Cp3 Nike commercials
Ebizz
: There was a time when alot of effort was put into creating basketball shoe commercials and hopefully this is the start of that again. I finally saw the lil mini Black Mamba movie and that it was tight. I like those shoes as well. Dwade thinks he is a black James Bond... but i like this idea as well.
DProfessor: Those commercials are cool but this is my favorite commercial right now.

9. Ohio State on the road???

DProfessor: Nobody wins at Wisconsin. Noboby.
Ebizz:
They have been showing that they are human. On the road anyone can be beat, but this is when they are supposed to show they are elite. Win now loose later I guess, but I think they are OVERRATED..

10. What have you been listening to lately???
Ebizz:
Pharoahe Monch - Calculated Amalgamation, Still Standing ft Jill Scott dope trackx.
DProfessor: I been listening to Kidz Bop 18. They jamming on there. Some Black Eye Peas. Keeping it gangsta as usual.
Xtra credit
Ebizz:
Kenny Smith has a very very hot ass wife. This Spartacus mini series is on point!
DProfessor: Kenny Smith wins. Hand down man down. Apparently she was on Price is Right.

Spot Me MELO

We got our Far East Coast correspondent to way in on our topics today....let's welcome from the future home of Brooklyn Nets...Mo Betta

1. Melo to Lakers?
EBizz: *No room to call this cheating with all the other super moves that have been made recently. With that said, hell yea lets make it happen. This will ensure we have our future in place when Kobe hangs his legendary jersey up. It will also keep us contending for years to come. Bynum has shown he has a big upside even with the injuries. Hell he is only 23. But like Kobe said, "ship his ass out."
DProfessor: I would welcome this with open arms if I were LA. All there are rumored to have to give up is Andrew Oden. I mean Bynum. You can't teach height, but you can't teach health either. Bynum has missed more games than Kobe and has only been in the league like 4 years. Unless he goes to Phoenix and the Fountain of youth trainers they have, Bynum is gonna stay on P.U.P. list. Besides, why not transition to new star of Melo since Kobe on downside of his career?
MoBetta: Let's make a deal! Big Bynum is only 23 but he's had more injuries than a 10 year vet, he showed a lot of heart last year playing thru the injuries and was a big part of helping us repeat but I'm scared that injuries will never fully allow him to reach his potential and I'm shaky on big men with a history of injuries (Yao Ming, Greg Oden,Rick Smits, Zydrunas Illgauskas, Bill Walton should i keep going???) the chance to get a player like Melo just hitting his prime to go along with aging but still @ the top of the game Kobe is scary good!

 2. Any other mega trades?
EBizz: *None would be bigger than Melo to the Lakers.
MoBetta: I'm with the E this is the only mega trade everything else pales in comparison.
DProfessor: What about this old guy named Steve Nash? A healthy Nash can go a long way in crunch time. Not Melo status but that is probably biggest other name available.

3. KG: Dirty or Fiesty????
EBizz: *KG has been dirty. Just watch him next time he sets a pick. He does alot of barking but scares no one. Not to take away from his game though. But all the antics are a waste of time. Besides Fiesty is not a word I would use to describe a grown ass man.
DProfessor: I love KG. KG is probably one of the top 25 Power Forwards of All Time. In one word, dirty. He put his foot out on Channing Frye and punched him in the nuts on one play. Epitome of dirty. But I would love it if he was on my time. Best example of the Big Ticket in work.
MoBetta: KG dirty hell yes! Would I take him on my team hell
yes! His act is tired and he doesn't put fear into anybody but his
intensity and passion I'd take anyday to go to war with

 4. More Housewives: Scottie Pippen's wife is finnnneeeeee
 http://www.people.com/people/article/0,,20463373,00.html
EBizz: If you are an athlete, or entertainer past or present, this is to be expected. Im not surprised. She is hot though.
MoBetta: What if Scotttie Pippen was just Scottie Pippen The 9-5 man, things that make you go hmmmm lol
DProfessor: If Pippen was 9-5, he could wear the big chicken suit and not need a beek.

5. HOF Class: Deion, Marshall, No Bus
EBizz: *Where the hell is Chris Carter???
DProfessor: I think Carter gets in next year ahead of Tiki Barber. People need to remember Carter's stats were there before he met this guy named Randy Moss.
MoBetta: Deion and Marshall def no brainers but no Chris Carter??? In the words of Mark Jackson come on hof your better than that!

6. NFL Lockout?
EBizz: If there is a lockout I think alot more people will be commiting suicide this upcoming year.
DProfessor: And a lot of child support payments will be missed. We might actually have a new show on VH1, Welfare Girlfriends of NFL.
MoBetta: Billionaires and millionaires arguing over money really? If theres a lockout I'm in line for replacement players!

7. NBA Lockout?
EBizz: If there is a lockout I think I will commit suicide this year. Kidding...
DProfessor: Can't we get Don King to broker a deal? Don King would have had this settled over a marathon of Sanford and Son.
MoBetta: Really more billionaires and millionaires arguing over money, 2k11 will have to due for a while..

8. 1st Pick in NFL Draft is.....
EBizz: Who played this year besides Cam Newton?
MoBetta: No clue...Other than Cam Newton what happened in college football this year?lol
DProfessor: And watch Cam get passed over for Underachieving White QB X and Y because they played in Pro Style offense. Newsflash, where have all the great Notre Dame and USC qbs gone (minus Dirty Sanchez)?

9. 1st Pick in NBA Draft is.....
EBizz: Way 2 early
DProfessor: Whoever it is, they better be ready to go to Cleveland. The league is going to have to put the fix in just so they will win a game by Thanksgiving.
MoBetta : Its very early but i dont think anyone has stood out at all no superstars for the draft this year.

10. BLANK TEAM wins NCAA Tourney
EBizz: KU, Duke, Uconn, Pitt, Ohio State, Texas all have a fair chance with their team depth
DProfessor: Duke makes it to final four, as usual and loses to Jemmer Fredette and BYU, who then loses to San Diego State in Championship.
MoBetta: It's wide open a lot of good teams nobody great right now just to throw a name out I'd go sleep with Texas

Wes 7.0

That should teach them. Don't mess with the Tosh!!!!

#Dead @bury you and your sister in the sand box
